What do I need to bring to my appointment?

Please remember to bring a current insurance card as well as a photo ID and the phone number of your insurance company. Also, come prepared with the birthday, and contact information of the patient receiving care.
How should I prepare my child for their visit?

Talk to your child about what they will experience at the dentist so that they will feel more comfortable and informed during their visit. If it helps your child to feel calm, they may want to bring a favorite toy or blanket to hold during their appointment. Older children may benefit from accompanying you and observing during your next visit, while younger children may enjoy playing pretend with you and imagining a visit to the dentist. Children of all ages can benefit from reading books or watching videos about visiting the dentist and what to expect during their appointment.
What will my child’s first visit be like?

Your child’s appointment will be similar to your own. The dentist will begin with an examination before moving on to a cleaning or other treatment. Each procedure will be explained before the dentist begins, allowing you and your child to ask questions. At the end of your visit, our team will talk to you about follow-up care and how to keep your teeth healthy at home.

Do I need to leave the room during my child’s appointment?

Parents are always welcome stay in the room and it’s usually comforting to the child. However, in some cases, this is a distraction for children. Our team will help you decide what’s best for your family.
